Congruent adaptation types of knee-joint menisci depending on the form of axial relationships between femur and cruse were determined with a help of ultrasonic morphometry in 211 children and adolescents at the age of 3 to 17. Two variants of the congruent formation of the meniscus complex during the varus-valgus transformation of lower extremities were determined by the criterion of symmetry of the sonometric thickness of lateral and medial menisci. Valgus variant, characterizing an unidirectionality of adaptative changes on axial and meniscus levels, was observed in the most (83,3–88,2%) of the examined persons. A persistence of a varus variant indicating the insufficiency of adaptative changes on the mentioned levels was revealed in 12,6–12,9% of children. Those children arrange a risk group in the respect of a predisposition of knee-joint structures to a microtrauma at inadequate locomotor loads.
