In daily practice an expert on diagnostic radiology is ought to face with images simulating the signs of tumorous lesions in a liver. These signs are combined in symptom-complexes, which is described by a common term: ''pseudo-formations''. The term adequately reflects the essence of the phenomenon. We obtain images with real abnormalities, which more look like or even indistinguishable from neoplasm but actually, being a pseudo-lesion. More often the false impression arises in cases of: perfusion changes, focal fatty infiltration, and areas, spared from diffuse fatty infiltration. False interpretation of normal findings is less common. The article presents examples of pseudo-lesions with explaining the causes of their originating.
