Essential Principles of Radiothermometry of Breast

Breast diseases are the most spread group of pathology among female population. It is necessary to note, that alongside with rising occurrence of a breast cancer the expressed prevalence of various benign lesions is persisted. A problem of detecting of structural changes in breast involves a wide range of diagnostic modalities. The computerized radiothermometry is based on a measurement of an intensity of a natural electromagnetic radiation of organs and tissues in the range of ultrahigh frequencies, which is proportional to deep temperature changes in a mamma. The performed examinations revealed a clear unity of pathogenetic mechanisms and temperature responses. Taking into consideration all aforesaid, the temperature response of the physiological processes occurring in the breast of the healthy woman; revealed radiothermometric criteria of norm in dependences on age, a reproductive function and a term of a menstrual cycle represent the major practical interest, allowing to assess a close connection between mamma's temperature and cyclic changes, that will permit to emphasize the thermosemiotics of the background and pathological processes.
