Clinical case of right ovarian vein thrombosis with floating thrombus in vena cava inferior is described in the article. Ultrasound allowed thrombi to be revealed during transabdominal scanning. Right ovarian vein thrombosis caused obstruction of the right urinary tract. Literature data have been analyzed. Right ovarian vein syndrome must be remembered during puerperium with differential diagnosis of complications at this period. Pelvic organs, abdominal cavity, kidneys, and venous system must be estimated as well.
