Endovascular Stenting of a Splenic Artery's Aneurysm (Case report)

This is a case report of a successful endovascular stenting of a splenic artery with a balloon extending stent-graft “JOSTENT(R)” (GraftMaster) in a patient with a false saccular aneurysm of the splenic artery. The angiography of the abdominal aorta and polyprojectional celiacography with subsequent splenic artery's endovascular stenting were performed. Short-term results were appreciated as good when we noticed a complete opening of the stent-graft, the lumen of the splenic artery was preserved and the aneurysm wasn't filled. This observation shows an opportunity of endovascular treatment of visceral arteries aneurysms with a help of stent-grafts.
