A Comparative Isolated Valve Insufficiency of Posterior Tibial Veins at Varicose Disease Through the Eyes of Ultrasonic Phlebography

Ultrasonic phlebography is significant and useful method of diagnostics of varicose disease, giving a precise topography of changes in both the deep and superficial venous system of lower extremities, allowing identifying the collateral and perforating veins. More there are a range of significant advantages of triplex scanning, which are noninvasiveness, a possibility of a repeated application and real time evaluation. All these perspectives of ultrasonic phlebography are priceless addition in daily routine of a vascular surgeon. Taking this into account, we consider that this is the method of instrumental examination, by which a clinical examination should be expanded at primary consultation of a patient with varicose disease.
