The results of plain film X-ray at 500 patients and Doppler ultrasonography of common carotid and vertebral arteries in an extracranial part at 39 patient from 20 to 78 year old with cervical osteochondrosis were presented. Twenty patients with neck pain, which were not connected to any problem of cervical spine disease, formed a group for comparison. Functional and X-ray signs were revealed and a classification of cervical spine osteochondrosis was presented. Values of changed blood velocities for common carotid arteries were estimated. The most appreciable changes (decrease of vessel diameter, increase of angel-independent hemodinamic indices) were observed in vertebral arteries. Obtained data specified changes in vertebral and carotid hemodinamic in patients with osteochondrosis of cervical spine.
