Computer Processing of Analogue Radiological Images in Differential Diagnostics of Focal Damages of Organs in Thorax

New information technologies based on digital principles of reception and processing of the medical information are developing very fast now. According to the world statistics about 20 % of roentgenograms are lost in the archives. Xray inspection starting with survey roentgenography is of great importance in the diagnostics of diffuse, focal and disseminated processes in the organs of thorax. It was determined that focal pneumonia, tuberculosis, pneumoconiosis are not reveled in 10–15 % of cases in survey pictures. The present study is devoted to the urgent problem of digitization of the radiological information (roentgenograms and photofluorograms), to their computer processing and further archiving.
