The CT of brain was performed in 101 children at the age from 3 months to 15 years. Besides 58 children if a control group, there were 22 children with hydrocephaly of a different degree and 21 children with craniostenosis. A liquorocranial index (LNI) was determined at all of the children. A correlation between a volume of the liquoral spaces and indices of physical development of a skull circumference was revealed in the control group. Liquorocranial index at children with low indices of a skull circumference averaged 1,65 ± 0,46%, and at children with high indices of a skull circumference it came to 2,96 ± 0,54%. At craniostenosis a volume of liquoral spaces turned out to be less 1%, but at high degree of hydrocephaly it exceeded 30%. At pathology of the central nervous system a syndrome of craniocerebral disproportion is formed, which has a precise mathematical reflection in the data of CTmorphometry. A limit of compensation of the syndrome can be determined by LNI, ranged from 1 to 30%.
