The aim of the investigation is to explore possibilities of the radio-isotopic hepatoscintigraphy with 99-m Technecium in an assessment of a state of the reticuloendothelial system in patients with chronic disseminated liver diseases. There were devised and proposed new methods of postprocessing: a calculation and as assessment of the liver's area and also a calculation and estimation of the radioisotope's separate accumulation in the liver's lobes. We examined 81 patients; 54 of them - with the chronic hepatitis and 27 - with liver cirrhosis of a various etiology. It was revealed on the scintigraphy the increase of a left liver's lobe at patients with chronic hepatitis with a progression to liver cirrhosis. It was marked a reliable decrease of an accumulation of the isotope in a liver already at patients with chronic hepatitis and simultaneous increase of the isotope's accumulation in a spleen with a reliable aggravation of the indices as progressing of the disease to cirrhosis. Deserving an attention a revealed dissociation of an accumulation of the colloid in a liver: during the proceeding decrease of an accumulation of the radiopharmaceutical in the right liver's lobe it is inversely proportional increasing in the left lobe. The data have shown a high informativity of front and lateral projections for liver's area calculation. At the beginning of the liver cirrhosis it was noticed a maximum increase of liver's area with a reliable difference from the data obtained in the group with chronic hepatitis. Moreover, the calculation of different additional relative indices and coefficients is of a great diagnostic importance in the determination of a stage of the process and a degree of its heaviness.
