Ultrasonic Assistance of Laparoscopic Operations on a Liver

Ultrasonography is an essential part of any laparoscopic intervention on a liver. The authors consider different practical aspects of the method at different laparoscopic reconstruction on a liver. High informativity allows considering it as a final method of intraoperative diagnostics, which could be completed with various ways of the controlled safe puncture biopsy for the purpose of cytological or histological investigation. The method allows to localize precisely a focal lesion, to evaluate its relations to vessels and bill ducts. Intraoperative ultrasonography permits to avoid vessels' damaging with subsequent uncontrolled bleeding and to control the efficacy of the performed intervention. Dynamic intraoperative ultrasonic navigation is a real mean of essential increase of the safety of interventions.
