The aim of study is comparison of possibilities of SPECT with specific (99mTc depreotide – NeoSpectTM) and nonspecific (67Gaitrate, 201Tl, 99mTcMIBI, 99mTctetrophosmine) radiopharmaceuticals in diagnosis and prevalence evaluating of lung cancer. SPECT with NeoSpectTM was performed in 25 patients (20 cases of lung cancer, 4 – inflammation, 1tubeculoma). SPECT with nonspecific radiotracers was executed in 62 patients. SPECT data were verified by histological analysis of tissue samples. SPECT images were evaluated in comparison with CT data. Evaluating of radiotracer uptake in lung mass lesion identified by CT and extrapulmonary one localization was conducted. Quantitative analysis revealed uptake increase of 67Gcitrate and NeoSpectTM in malignant tumors in contrast with nonspecific radiopharmaceuticals. Sensitivity of SPECT with NeoSpectTM was 100%, for 67Gacitrate –86%, 201Tl – 75%, 99mTcMIBI and 99mTctetrophosmine – 67%. SPECT with NeoSpectTM, 67Gacitrate and 201Tl was revealed extrapulmonary foci of radiotracer uptake . Thus, SPECT with NeoSpectTM and 67Gacitrate are the most useful tools for diagnosis and prevalence evaluating of lung cancer.
