X-ray Examination of Upper Gastrointestinal Tract with a Help of a Domestic Digital Remote Control X-ray Unit

On hundred and five patients were examined on a domestic diagnostic X-ray unit “KRT Electron”. The authors came to a conclusion, that a routine X-ray examination of a gastrointestinal tract should be performed consecutively in multiple positions in inhalation and exhalation in upright and horizontal positions during phases of partial, double and full filling with measured compression of an abdomen. For receiving a more detailed and objective information a method of upper gastrointestinal tract's examination should include an analog radiography with digital recording and six common roentgenograms with optimal positions of different morphological objects lying in different positions. Additional photos and digital records could be made in a case of a suspicion or a detecting of pathological changes for the purpose of their detailed description. The received digital video clips and photos should be processed and analyzed with a help of special software designed for an improvement of the image quality.
