Comparative Estimation of Diagnostic Efficiency of Standard and Triple Doze of Contrast Media (Magnevist) in Detection of Various Pathology on 0,5T MRI-scanner

The purpose of the research was a comparative estimation of enhancing ability of gadolinium-containing substance (Magnevist) in standard doze of 0.2 ml/kg and triple doze of 0.6 ml/kg in detection of tumors, ischemic lesions, multiple sclerosis on 0.5 T MRI-scanner. There was revealed the expediency of triple dose gadolinium-enhancement in visualization of anaplastic tumors, especially in the post operational period for a definition of tumor's progression, ischemic lesions in acute period, and demyelinization lesions in active phase of multiple sclerosis.
